Do you and your dog try your best, but he’s still pulling on the leash? Jumping on guests? Running away when called? These common challenges can be stressful, but the right combination of patience and persistence is the key. Our trainers use their professional experience to assess your specific situation and provide proven resources to build a better understanding between you and your dog.
Each dog receives a customized training program built on your specific needs and goals. We can hone in on particular skills, but our training programs are designed to excel in training dogs' obedience cues and home manners.
By the end of one of our training programs, your dog will be able to:
● Respond to basic obedience commands like sit, stay, and lay down
● Walk peacefully on the leash
● Greet strangers with composure
● Come when called
● Maintain general good manners
At Bluebonnet Bunk’n Biscuit, we believe in a fair balance of fun and learning so our training programs are designed to give your pup the best of both worlds. In our experience, dogs are much more concentrated and ready to absorb their training after they’ve had a chance to play and get out their energy. Just like human kids, dogs need “recess” to make the most of their education!
An added benefit of training is socialization, a critical skill that dogs of all ages need to live their best lives. Our playgroups are a safe and supervised place for dogs to exercise their social skills with other friendly, vaccinated pups. If your dog doesn’t enjoy the company of other dogs, that’s okay. We have specially trained team members ready to bond and play with your pup one-on-one.
We only use positive-based methods here at Bluebonnet Bunk’n Biscuit. We tap into your dog’s natural desires for praise and reward to motivate them. This makes the training process fun and meaningful for your dog, and ultimately leads to better retention.

We’re very proud of our outstanding safety and health record, which is largely due to our vaccination requirements. We require our guests to have proof of vaccination for rabies, distemper (DHLPP), Bordetella, and canine influenza.
Yes, all dogs are welcome to train with us!
No, there’s actually no such thing as a dog that’s too old to benefit from training. While it may take more patience and understanding to teach new habits, we can produce results in older dogs.
The training evaluation is a one-on-one meeting between you and one of our training team members. We’ll show you our facility, explain our training methods, go over your pet’s training experience and situation, and discuss the training options that work best for your goals.
The more time your dog has with our trainers, the better the results. We recommend at least 5 days, but most of our clients find 15 days to be an ideal program.
We offer discounts for longer Stay & Train packages. Call us to find out more.
We use positive reinforcement to naturally motivate the dogs and generate the behaviors desired in a comprehensible, friendly way. It’s important to us that training is a positive, rewarding experience for your dog.
Our training programs are specially structured so your dog will associate the training with the commands and cues given, not the person that gives it. We can do this because we have a whole team of training professionals rather than one trainer. This way, your pet will work with multiple people throughout their program, preventing them from responding to just one person.
While we specialize in providing basic obedience and home manners training, we have the experience and tools to help with most common behavioral concerns. We’ll discuss how we can help when you visit us for your training evaluation.
We’re proud to guarantee results in some of our Stay & Train programs. Please call us to find out more.
